Property care in Englewood
Englewood has the oldest housing stock of any city I regularly work in, and I like it for that. Smaller lots, mature trees, and houses that were built when people expected to fix things rather than replace them.
What is different about working in Englewood
Every city page on this site says something true about that city. If it did not, it would be the same page eleven times with the name swapped, and you would learn nothing from reading it.
- Much of Englewood is postwar bungalow and ranch, built between about 1945 and 1965. Plaster walls and no structured wiring means TV mounting here is a different job than it is in a 2005 build, and I quote it that way.
- Lots are small and the trees are big. Mowing is quick, but the trimming, edging, and leaf work is where the actual time goes, and pricing that only counts square footage gets it wrong.
- There is a lot of rental and small multifamily. Turnover cleans between tenants are a regular part of what I do here and I can work to a move out checklist.
- Alley access is common, which genuinely helps. It means I can get equipment closer to the work and keep the front of the property clear.
