Ways to pay

Zelle, cash, or a check. No card fee, because there is no card surcharge to pass on. Pick whichever is easiest for you; none of the three costs either of us anything to use.

Pay with cash No fee

Hand it over when the job is done. Exact change is welcome and never required, and you get a receipt if you want one.

Pay with a check No fee

Make it payable to Blue Sky Service Group LLC, not to Spottedwood Property Co.

That looks like the wrong name and it is not. Spottedwood is the brand on the truck; Blue Sky Service Group LLC is the company behind it, and the bank account is in that name. Put your address or invoice number in the memo line so it is easy to match up.

When you pay

Payment is due when the work is finished and you are happy with it. Recurring work is invoiced monthly; one off work is invoiced on completion. You get the number before I start rather than after I finish, so nothing on the invoice should be a surprise.

Remember the floor from the pricing page: labor is $40 an hour with a 1 hour minimum, so the smallest possible invoice is $40. Recurring lawn and cleaning visits are priced per visit, so the minimum does not stack on top of them.

Cards

Cards are not set up yet. If a card is the only thing that works for you, ask and I will sort something out. Keeping to the three methods above is part of how the hourly rate stays where it is, because none of them take a cut on the way through.

Receipts and invoices

  • Ask for a receipt or an invoice and you get one. Useful for a rental, a business, or an insurance claim.
  • Recurring work is invoiced monthly so you are not paying visit by visit.
  • If your business needs particular paperwork before it can pay a vendor, tell me what and I will sort it out.
